Lately, regular readers and visitors to this site have been likely been disappointed by the paucity of posts; I’m sure you’re wondering just what the heck is going on and why I seem to be AWOL from my once active blogging schedule. There are two reasons for my absence: the first involves a change of residence and the second involves the Tea Party movement.
As I indicated in my post about theĀ stray bear cub in Dunellen, the apartment I share with the lovely and ever-gracious Nicole is just too small for two people and two dogs; in about ten days we’ll begin moving our stuff to a much more spacious apartment in the South Plainfield area (located in the 6th Congressional District, represented by Congressman Cupcake). It follows that when we are not working, we’re packing.
The second distraction comes courtesy of the Tea Party movement. A few weeks ago I published a “call to action” of sorts in which I exhorted the various groups that comprise the Tea Party movement in New Jersey to unite.
Did they respond? I’ll tell you this much: something is going to happen. Details to follow soon…
Welcome to the 6th—on the bright side, rumor has it Cupcake might be running for a higher office in 2014 so this might be the last time he runs unopposed.
now, I get to see you more often – is that a good thing?
