Bulldog Echo Syndrome

On November 7 I published an article titled The Composite Candidate in which I pined for the opportunity to take the best qualities of each of the GOP presidential contenders and alloy them into a single individual.Well, it looks like I’m not alone. It appears that columnist and political pundit Cal Thomas shares my sentiment:

Watching the latest (I’ve lost count of the number) Republican candidates’ debate in Detroit made me wish we could have a composite candidate with the best from all of them, because each has something valuable to contribute.
